At Whitmans, we're incredibly proud to support these amazing charities. Each one makes a real difference to people's lives, and we're honoured to play a small part in helping them continue their invaluable work. Together, we can help create brighter futures, stronger communities, and lasting positive change.
Sightsavers works to protect sight and fight avoidable blindness in some of the world's poorest communities. They provide eye care, life-changing surgeries, treatments, and support for people with visual impairments, helping millions live healthier, more independent lives.
The RNLI is a charity dedicated to saving lives at sea. Its volunteer lifeboat crews and lifeguards provide a 24-hour rescue service around the UK and Ireland, while also promoting water safety education to help prevent accidents before they happen.
Help for Heroes supports veterans and serving personnel whose lives have been affected by illness or injury. The charity provides physical and mental health support, recovery programmes, welfare advice, and community services to help people rebuild their lives and achieve their potential.
The Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust inspires young people aged 8–24 to believe in a brighter future after cancer. Through sailing and outdoor adventures, the charity helps rebuild confidence, develop friendships, and support young people as they move forward with their lives beyond treatment.
Supporting the Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust
At the end of June, our Directors, Pete and Coral, were delighted to attend the Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust's two-day Customer Boating Gathering, held on 27–28 June 2026 at Lymington Town Sailing Club.
The event brought together supporters, partners and guests to celebrate the incredible work of the Trust while enjoying two fantastic days on the water. It was a wonderful opportunity to see first-hand the positive impact the charity has on the lives of young people recovering from cancer, helping them rebuild confidence, make lasting friendships and look to the future with hope.
We're proud to support such an inspiring charity and to be part of a community that helps make a real difference to the lives of young people and their families.
